Related?: If the ear problems are related to rhinitis (any combination of nasal congeston, drainage, sinus pain, sneezing etc) then it would be important to determine cause. Even if related to allergy, oral antihistamines often are not potent enough to relieve symptoms, especially if severe enough to cause eustachian tube dysfunction (inability to clear fluid from middle ear).

Right ear hearing muffled if i swallow or yawn. Tipping head temp relieves, upside down head causes click above ear and most effective. Click hurts.
I've had clicking in my right ear only when I swallow for almost 2 years now...my ENT checked for nasal cancer and deemed the clicking as "something that just happens sometimes ".Now, I have intermittent whooshing rhythmic sound in the right ear?
After being sick with (what's suspected) human metapneumovirus, I hear a faint clicking sound in my left ear every time I yawn. Could this be an indicator of something more serious? I do not have tinnitus (I went to an ENT). I've had TMJ for 10 years?
