Ive been experiencing a maddening crawling/worming sensation in my r-ear canal, increasing in frequency recently. its not painful, doesnt itch, no sickness precipitating it. it pauses for a few minutes when i touch it, but always comes back. help?

There is likely a foreign body, e.g. a short piece of hair, in the external auditory canal. You should see your doctor for a brief ear exam.
