i have constant itching in ear canal. cannot get rid of it. been bothering me for over 1 year. allergy medicine does not help. skin in ear is dry.

? infection: Of the ear canal (otitis extrna) dry ears as dry skin can invite infection hence itching, allergy meds won't help, a prescription ear drops would help though.
