From your description it seems fairly advanced seriousness depends on other factors like age, co-morbidities etc. Thick walled mass in kidney requires further evaluation.

As serious as it could be, for staging there are many scales and other criteria needed for proper staging. The jaundice is seen in late stages and the presence of the kidney mass is complicating even more the picture.
