Could i have cancer? ive got 1/2 inch feelable submandibular, cervical and submental lymph nodes. ive had them for 3 years and theyve never changed. there mobile and not painful and there oval shaped. i have no signs of infection too?

They are likely normal lymph nodes, specifically if not changing in size and without any other symptoms. Have your doc comment on them during your annual exam, health related anxiety is likely and needs to be addressed before the lymph nodes.

If the masses have not changed in 3 years, it is not cancer. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
