A member asked:

I've had feelable cervical, submandibular and submental lymph nodes for 2 years. there 1/2 an inch and have never changed. there mobile too. i have no infection and i'm slim too. could this be cancer or lymphoma and if not then how so?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Rare things rarely happen. Pea sized and mobile are the normal state of lymph nodes. They are often easily found in superficial locations like the neck when they are not buried in fat or other tissue. This is not the location where we worry about cancer or lymphoma, nor do they sound abnormal. If you are worried have it evaluated. I wouldn't waste my time.
