I was driving approx 30mph i braked (not an emergency stop, no accident) my head and neck jerked back an i got left ear pain as the jerk happened. i now have ear, neck and base of head pains. also left jaw pain (i do have tmj) should i be concerned?

It could be similar to a mild whiplash case so you should not worry too much You can take tylenol or ibuprofen as needed for pain in the next 24 hours, rest you neck for a day and then resume normal activities after 24 hours. I expect all symptoms resolve by the next day.
