I'm getting horrible anxiety and panic attacks with 40mg valsartan. my cardiologist wants to try irbesartan but i'm afraid to try it because the half life is longer. losartan gave me chills. blood pressure around 115-120/80 down from 130s/80s?

Long half life is better so I wonder why you are afraid of. You should try either Irbesartan or Telmisartan.

Hi doctors. I blood pressure medications, Losartan 100 mg & Metoprolol ER 100 mg. At the nephrologist my blood pressure was 120/70. At the cardiologist a week later it was 145/80. I often get variable numbers. Is this variability in readings normal?
