UTI symptoms usually start to improve within 1-2 days. If you still have urinary frequency, urgency or painful urination in another day or two, contact your doctor again. You may need a different antibiotic, or confirmation that your symptoms are caused by UTI and not something else. Good luck.

It should work within this period. If not better in another day or two- either the drug is not the right one for type of infection, you might have something else. Drink plenty of water. Hope you do well
