I recently got into a physical altercation with a person whos infected with hiv. i pulled his hair so hard that it cut my finger like a razor or paper cut. my question is: can hiv live in the oil from hair? could i possibly have contacted it?

HIV doesn't exist on the outside of HIV infected persons bodies, either in hair oil or other body fluids. Exposure to sweat is also risk free, and for the most part so are saliva and urine. If your cut did not occur in the presence of his blood, you can safely assume you were not at risk.
