Can i use sudafed while using afrin nasal spray. i just have nasal congestion due to a cold, can i and what would be best to take orally.

Yes: Just don't use afrin (oxymetazoline) for more than 5 days or you may end up in worse shape. Sudafed works just well or better than any other otc decongestant.
