I took 500 mg levoflocacine everyday for 2 weeks and i started having extreme panic atacks.its been a week off and i still feel that way.why ?

Can affect CNS: Levofloxacine is an unusal antibiotic. It can be very effective for deep tissue infections, but it does have a range of unusual side effects in some people--inluding hypersensitivity of the central nervous system. Anyone experiencing such should alert his/her prescribing physician and avoid it in future. The reaction ought slowly to pass, but can persist for awhile.
