Go over your tests: You probably were not having a heart attack. The emergency room would have discovered this. Don't say "just" a panic attack if it was severe enough to go to the ER. Its important. Find a good primary Dr, review your tests carefully to be sure no evidence of heart disease (more test tests could be appropriate), then try to get your anxiety treated (maybe therapy or medication). Agree with Dr. S: You need to have a detailed evaluation to rule out treatable causes of your symptoms. If you are overweight, losing weight should be a priority. Have a healthy diet, drink plenty of water and start exercising, after clearing it with your doctor. Wish you good health.
