I have severe depression and my antidepressants i got put on 2 weeks ago seems help a little buty anxiety is still terrible and had another panic attack two nights ago. i have a doctor's appointment with a psychologist wednesday what should i say?

Explain things just like you did in the question you wrote. There are anti-depressant medications that can also treat anxiety but also some patients need to be on both an anti-depressant and an anti-anxiety medication. The psychologist can do their part to help you but you will need to see an MD doctor again for any other prescriptions.

Dr. MacFarlane provides some good guidelines. Would suggest, prior to the visit, that you list areas of frustration and feelings of loss to discuss, but also deal with any helplessness you encounter. Also, document your sleep patterns, eating changes, social changes, and exercise patterns.
