Is it ok to switch vaccines for the new covid-19 booster that just came out? from moderna i bivelant to pfizer or should i keep the same? this would be my second booster the last reaction to the moderno it was a swollen arm at injection and tired?

No, you can take Pfizer bivalent vaccine as an alternative. However, I think the side effect will not differ much between the two.

The recommendation is to get whichever bivalent COVID-19 vaccine is available to you. There is not a problem switching to the other brand from the one(s) you had before for this booster. You still may have a reaction, but you can try it, but don't delay getting one if Pfizer isn't available to you.
