A member asked:

Mcv is 100. ref range 80-96. blood in urine. + bilirubin, ++ leocyctes. are these all normal values? what is the cause?

These are best explained by someone who knows your history/exam and the full testing results. There are multiple possibilities. and they may be okay for some, especially when we are not aware of how the urine was collected.

No they are not. MCV can be. Why were the tests done? Best is to ask your MD and in the meantime drink plenty of water

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, the high MCV could be due to deficiency of Vitamin B12 and or folate. Hemolytic anemia needs to be excluded. Wish you good health!
