Superficial artery/vein on both sides of my head (gp states they're veins) runs from front of ear to forehead. strong pulse. inflammation blood test normal. temporal arteritis ruled out. i also get dull headaches. is a blood test conclusive?

You are probably a light skinned person, making it easy to see vessels under the skin. The head is highly vascularized and that may explain why you see the blood vessels easily rather than having Temporal Arteritis which is actually best diagnosed by a biopsy. Headache may be due to tension and anxiety. You may seek a reevaluation however the doctor may have perceived your anxiety not pathology.
