Yes: It can always be "something else, " but what you describe sounds like ta. Use anti-inflammatory agent such as Aspirin or Naproxen or advil (ibuprofen). Then, see your doctor. Good luck.

VEIN, ARTERY?: Should get it checked. There is a vein there and artery. Temporal arteritis affects artery only. See your doctor.
