For couple of yrs i've had chronic headaches due to seeming inflammation of the blood vessels of my head. shld i worry about temporal arteritis?

? inflamed vessels: I would think that if a doctor/doctors have told you that you have "inflammation of the blood vessels of my head", they would have evaluated you for temporal/giant cell arteritis (GCA). While elevated inflammatory markers such as sedimentation rate and C-reactive protein can suggest GCA, a biopsy of the temporal artery confirms the diagnosis. High dose steroids are needed to treat. Possibly: I would get more than one opinion after having a thorough exam and history done. You may need some testing and/.or a MRI or ct scan
