Follow your dentist's advice and have root canal therapy performed. That tooth usually exfoliates around 11 years old and is needed to maintain the spacing of the adjacent teeth to allow for proper secondary tooth eruption. Premature loss can lead to the need for future orthodontic care. Moving forward have her teeth checked and cleaned every six months.

A cavity is an infection and it requires immediate treatment. As baby canines help support the boney architecture of the corners of the mouth, and act as guides for erupting permanent canines, it isn important that they be maintained. Root canal Rx is preferable. Know that it is imperative that your child see an Orthodontist bye age 7.
