Everytime im standing or sitting for more than a few minutes my flanks hurt. it will go away or get better if i lie down. another pain i get is at the upper spine specially right between the shoulder blades regardless of position. is thos concerning?

I would be concerned about some spinal cord impingement in the midback. An MRI of the.spine at the midback would be worthwhile if your symptoms persist.
