I have numbness in lower back and sometimes whole spine in bed like im lying on something. it also hurts there for the first 5-10 seconds to lie down unless i flex my shoulder blades and hold breath in and ease into it. whats going on?

Dr exam: Numbness like this should be evaluated with a thorough history & physical exam to be sure no neurological problem going on. If the evaluation is normal, a good physical therapist can probably help you.
