46,healthy male,5 ft 8,136 lbs, healthy diet and exercise.colonoscopy was done as i am older than 45. results: a single 4 mm,sessile polyp in proximal descending colon. resection and removal were complete.worried that polyp could be cancer. comments?

The removed polyp should have been submitted to a pathologist for examination and that will provide a definitive answer. If you use a patient portal you will see the result when the pathologist signs out the report.
