I've had 3 colonoscopies over the last 15 years. All negative. No polyps. Non-smoker, non-drinker, normal weight. My mom died from colon cancer in 1997. Smoked 20yr, avg. drinker, obese, bad diet. Last screening 2016. How many years before next one?
How do you know if you have a family history of colon cancer if all the old folks get colonoscopies, get polyps removed, and say nothing about it?
