I had to get an MRI of my abdomen and pelvis (urogram) with contrast (gadolinium based, macrocyclic - dotarem). I was reading about gadolinium retention and issues surrounding it. Should I be worried about any of these issues? Is it completely safe?
Ultrasound revealed liver hemangioma. Doc wants an MRI but I'm claustrophobic. CT scan with no contrast agent sufficient for proper diagnosis?
