More information is : needed///WHY do you fear Gadolinium??? This contrast is used ROUTINELY for detail of non bony tissue. Hope this helps Dr Z

Dear doctor, I am 43 year oId female. I have an MRI with and without contrast scheduled tomorrow for liver imaging. I have a 3cm hypoechoic focal lesion in the left lobe of the liver. I am worried about gadolinium as contrast agent. Is it safe?
Cardiac MRI/MRA/MR with IV gadolinium vs TEE echo to look for a vsd or asd, which test is more accurate? To look for a hole in the heart?
Doc thinks paresthesias = anxiety but ordered brain MRI to be safe. Is gadolinium necessary or can I go without? Am atopic. Scared of contrast.
Does a cardiac MRI require gadolinium contrast or can it done without for cardiomyopathy?
