How bad is klebsiella pneumonie greater than 100,000 cfu/ml? i have crohn's disease and have had recurring utis for the past year. it has usually been e-coli infections. however, this last culture showed this new bacteria that i've never seen before?

Klebsiella is not an unusual bacteria but will probably require a different antibiotic for treatment. It has probably become more dominant because previous treatments have suppressed other bacteria (commonly E. coli).

Recurrent UTI warrant a Urologic consult to find cause. Once found it will be treated. In the meantime drink plenty of water. Keep the vulvo vaginal area clean. Hope you do well
