.: No treatment yet. He needs good control measures and specific diet. Avoid specific drugs. Let your doctor know when be is put on any medication to check for interaction. Also get him vaccinated for all common illnesses. Good diet and some vitamin e should help.

No known treatment: There is no known treatment for g6pd deficiency, the only thing you can do is avoid specific drugs as antimalarials, sulfa drugs, moth balls and fava beans. A more extensive list can be obtained from your doctor. Usually g6pd is mild, but can be more of a problem. Please discuss with your doctor. Infant toothpaste is okay, but not regular adult toothpaste. Use the smallest amount.
