Your total bilirubin, direct and indirect portions are entirely normal and you can ignore the normal range of direct bilirubin. Conjunctival icterus (yellow conjunctiva) can't be recognized with total bilirubin of 1 mg/dl. Only with a sharp eyes can icterus be recognized when bilirubin is above 2 mg/dl.
