Have cirrhosis,& drink alcohol. how high is bilirubin if eyes are yellow the last few days. feel fine otherwise,no ascites.acute failure?

You should abstain from alcohol completely to avoid worsening of cirrhosis. For jaundice to occur the bilirubin has to be at least 4. The presence of jaundice in a patient with cirrhosis is a poor sign as is ascites. You must take your condition very seriously. I trust you're under the care of a gastroenterologist or hepatologist.
