A member asked:

Good afternoon, i have been sick since saturday evening, no covid, but upon blowing my nose my ear popped loudly. since i was 9, tubes were put in my ears 3 x's ending at the age 14, both eardrums are cracked. nausea, dizziness, headaches turn into migraines and unbalance question is, usually my ear pops back after a day or so, but it's been 4 days and still feels like it's clogged. should i use debrox to unclog or get checked for possible vertigo? possibly both? cracked/popped ear drum?

Eval: You will need an actual consultation to address this. You can do this through your own provider or possibly through telemedicine. The PE tubes usually help to equalize pressure from middle ear (they go through tympanic membrane). The tubes do not treat problems with ear wax. An evaluation would be necessary to answer your questions.
