Lung cancer is a rare cause for blood in sputum in your age group. Much more common conditions, such as bronchitis, sinuses or dental/gum issues among many others may account for similar symptoms. In case your symptom persists, definitely a good reason to discuss it with your doc for peace of mind and a proper diagnosis.

The source of the bleeding may be in the upper airway, including the throat. Small vessel rupture, irritation of the lining of the airway are among possible causes. Smoking increases the likelihood of lung cancer, but it is less likely. Infections such as TB may cause chronic cough and phlegm with blood streaks. More information would be helpful- do you have other symptoms? COVID 19 test.
