A member asked:

Ventricle hernation into sella causing appearance of empty sella" is this common in idiopathic intracranial hypertension? and could it cause my high thyroid antobodies? thank you?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Empty sella syndrome is not uncommon in pseudotumor, but is not the cause of elevated thyroid antibodies, which may offer a clue to the etiology of your intracranial issues. Have an endocrinologist get involved, if not done previously.
