What causes slit ventricles / very very small ventricles in intracranial hypertension - never had a shunt. ventricles have been this tiny since beginning of iih 8 years ago. what is mechanism onehind this? thank you?

This is not unusual in presence of brain swelling associated with Pseudotumor Cerebri, as the brain appears to put pressure on the visible ventricles, making them appear far smaller than previously.
