A member asked:

Good morning doctors. i had symptoms of a posterior vitreous detachment. thank god no retinal detachment. dr. wants to see me in 4 weeks as a follow up. i am scheduled for a 2 week cruise next week. is it safe to travel? what if my symptoms get worse?

As important as vision is, especially at age "62", it is better to make certain you have available ophthalmologic specialty services, and not rely on appropriate treatment on a "2-week cruise".
