Good morning doctors. are any of you aware of the present state of covid? i am considering a cruise leaving from new york to the caribbean, and am thinking if it is safe, as we do not hear about covid in the news?

Covid19 is still widespread throughout the population. That probably won’t change anytime soon due to viral mutations. That doesn’t mean you should avoid a cruise, but just be aware that you can still catch the virus. The impact on your body will depend on underlying medical conditions & precious Covid immunity. Vaccination & antivirals reduce risk of severe illness.
