Had a heart rate of 120 most of the day. i have been sick with a sore throat but no fever. wall around for a little bit and rate increased to 150. is this just from being unwell?, and what are so e things i can do to lower it?

See a doctor in person. Much more information needs to be considered. That heart is is high for a sore throat without a fever.

If you have not eaten well due to the sickness, dehydration can affect the heart rate. You can do this as a test treatment: try to eat 2 cans of Campbell chicken soup then drink 32 oz of water afterward. You can take ibuprofen OTC 2-3 tablets 30 mins before if you can't swallow well due to sore throat. After one hour check you recheck pulse rate, if it comes down below 100 you are dehydrated.
