If no pain, no dry socket and sutures removed, you can eat almost anything. The holes may need a few more days to completely close up, so make sure you rinse out after eating so food particles don't get into small extraction site holes left.

Depending upon the severity of removal 10 to 14days is usually adequate time to return to normal eating habits. The reason for disuse of a straw was to inhibit negative pressure which would dislodge the blood clot necessary for routine healing.
