Numbness in leg to the left of left kneecap for 1.5 months. spine mri showed left foraminal t11-t12 disk extrusion displaces the left t11 nerve root and results in mild left foraminal stenosis. could this cause the numbness?

Lateral part of your knee is not innervated by T11 nerve but L4 nerve.

No, the disc is not responsible as this involves the location of the infrapatellar branch of the femoral nerve, often affected by knee trauma or surgery
