Hi, it's been a week i have electrical sharp pain along spine, extreme pins & needle pain right leg & numbness on my toe and pain mid section near the spine. do i need to get an mri and what's the cause. currently on fampyra med. thanks?

You have multiple sclerosis to be taking Fampyra, so your symptoms may represent a flare vs a new lesion. You need to discuss this with your PMR doc or neurologist to determine if further work up is needed at this time, or if a round of steroids, AEDs, or other treatment is warranted. Good luck

Would recommend contacting your neurologist, and informing about the changes. Sounds like a lesion in the cervical spine which needs evaluation and treatment. If you have MS, this would be consistent with a relapse and should be handled ASAP.
