29 y/o female, dad - colon cancer, mom- polyps. my 2017 colonoscopy - clear, 2022 repeat - one flat polyp 11mm in ascending colon. waiting on path, but is this concerning based on size/shape? 3yrs too long for repeat? im a scared young mom here?

At least the flat polyp was taken out so you should not worry too much because your concern does not change the outcome, just patiently wait for the biopsy result.

I am sure the polyp was taken care of. Wait for the biopsy There are problems and there are its solutions. Once you get the report your Gastro will advise you on the timings of future colonoscopies. . Wish the best.
