Lipase 490 during admission then same night 365.doctor did not suspect pancreatitis and asked to do lipase test in outside lab which came to 28 and then the next day 44.no pain and no other symptoms.us normal.no ct done.wbc 12k.is this pancreatitis?

While serum amylase can be normal in acute pancreatitis, lipase is always elevated for days. There has to be another explanation for your abdominal pain. episode.
