Mid 20s, amylase 156 and lipase 152, a few years of recurrent diarrea. No upper abdominal pain. Mildly low b12. No celiac or IBD. Never drank. Is this concerning for chronic pancreatitis or would this be very unlikely given age/symptoms??
Elevated amylase but normal lipase & normal abdominal CT scan. Does this rule out pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer? Why would amylase be elevated?
