Should i be questioning the quality of care i'm receiving regarding this pancreatitis? i was never officially npo either.no ct scan done no gi consult per this drs orders.but he confirmed dx on lipase

Pancreatitis: Because pancreatitis can be severe, it would be of benefit to have a GI consult to get the best care possible.

Amylase/lipase: Blood work are done after hx and pe for abdominal pain usually with harsh nausea and vomiting, sometimes associated with binge alcohol use. Your age and symptom complex do not compel CT or GI consult. If you improve, fine. Relapse or persist: further pursuit then
