Got xray of foot and found that broke 5th metatarsal bone most likely in 3 pieces but not sure. is it possible that will have surgery? please i need some information to find out what could happen?

Having that seen the x-rays it is impossible to provide an accurate assessment. However, the likelihood of surgery is very high unless the fragments are non-displaced and your doctor feels it’ll heal with a cast and immobilization.
