A low density lesion 0.6 cm in the kidney is usually a cyst and radiologist can make the call. If there is any doubt, radiologist will ask for an adjunct study such as ultrasound, CT with IV contrast or repeat the study in 3-6 months.

Ultrasound usually is not diagnostic of the true nature of a kidney lesion. You need a CT or MRI. Density only means same density as the kidney or low meaning less. Pl get an MRI or CT with contrast for better diagnosis. Good luck
