Nausea is rarely the lone symptoms of GERD and esophagitis. Nausea may be associated with IBS if you have severe constipation. If you are sexually active, pregnancy needs to be ruled out with a urine pregnancy test. Nausea could be the side effect of some common medications so I wonder if you are taking any new medication before that.
