I have a hiatal hernia and esophagitis. i have been taking esomeprazole for a year now and its getting to the point where at night i feel like i cant breathe and my throat is closing with severe nausea. not sure what to do?

Talk to your treating doc, you will need to be evaluated in order to decide if your symptoms are solely due to worsening reflux at night versus other condition or a mixture. Specifically if you had tests, such as an upper endoscopy following up with same group will be best.
