A member asked:

Is it ok to use an albuterol inhaler for seasonal asthma symptoms in a patient with paroxysmal afib well controlled with flecainide and carvedilol?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

There is a risk that albuterol can trigger A fib. In an attempt to prevent this we use levalbuerol instead. You need to discuss this question with your doctor.
