Afib,htn controlled w/medication.otherwise healthy no cad,chf,normal kidney&liver function.physically fit. flecainide 50 bid,carvedilol 12.5 bid,losartan 50 1x daily.do these medications need to be monitored w/blood work, if so when and how often?

With that medical history and current medication list, it is prudent to have routine blood test 2-3 times a year and see your doctor at least twice a year.

If the rate is well controlled with atrial fibrillation and you remain in sinus rhythm, it may be possible to try and discontinue the carvedilol. On the other hand, if there there are occasional episodes with rapid rate, it would be advisable to continue with the carvedilol. I would be satisfied with clinical monitoring if you are otherwise doing well.
